About Rae

Hi, I’m Rae (he/they), I am the proud Founder and Head Accountant of RT Accounting Services. I have about 10 years of experience in the industry and have helped countless clients navigate the often-complex world of accounting and taxes.

Outside of the office, I spend my time supporting women’s basketball, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, and traveling. I also enjoy trying new foods and recipes, and spending time with my wife and our four legged child (pictured).

About Kylar

Kylar Maldonado (he/him) ’25, M’26 is an accounting professional and current Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation candidate at the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business. As a first-generation, non-traditional student, Kylar brings resilience, empathy, and a people-centered approach to his work — values shaped by his personal and professional journey.

Raised by a single mother of six in a low-income household, Kylar’s path to financial stability began with a determination to overcome adversity and create security for himself. His experiences navigating instability, managing finances, and building structure in his own life inspired his passion for accounting and helping others achieve the same stability. As a queer Latino trans man, he understands the barriers marginalized communities face in financial systems and channels that awareness into providing thoughtful, inclusive service to every client.

Before joining RT Accounting Services as a seasonal tax associate, Kylar served as a multi-service line intern at a Big 4, contributing to a sustainability-focused capstone project on reducing corporate carbon footprints. He also completed an international tax internship there, where he analyzed cross-border compliance issues and supported reporting processes for global clients.

Now preparing for CPA eligibility by May 2026, Kylar looks forward to refining his expertise in individual tax filings, by working on a more personalized scale allowing him to connect closely with clients and deliver service rooted in accuracy, respect, and care.

Hey, I’m Lina (they/them) and I’m the Admin Operations Manager!

I help business owners and teams feel human and cared for in their day-to-day work, with 12+ years of experience providing administrative support, business process optimization, and project management services.

When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my pittie mix, being outside with the plants and trees, reading (all of the genres), learning something new, naps, connecting with my community, soft people, and uncontrollable laughter.

Hi, I’m Robert, the Website Manager here at RT Accounting. I handle everything related to keeping our website running smoothly—updating content, improving design, and making sure everything is fast, secure, and easy to use. My goal is to make the online experience as simple and helpful as possible for potential clients.

I also run my own web design studio, Misfit Development, where I help small businesses build websites that actually work for them. I love combining creativity and tech to solve problems and support growing teams.
