Melissa B. Reaktenwalt (she/her) is the Founder and CEO of EViE Financial, a women-led and -operated firm dedicated to helping professionals and owners align their money with their lifestyle. With two decades of experience, Melissa specializes in financial wellness and actionable planning for executive women, mental health professionals, and high-earning entrepreneurs. Beyond serving as an active advisor at her firm, Melissa speaks at regional and national events throughout the year, engaging people in practical money conversations.

A Certified Public Bookkeeper and PhD student in Business with a concentration in Accounting, Andrew also holds an MBA and a Master’s in Nonprofit Management—and is a total accounting geek who genuinely loves this field. Outside of work, Andrew plays in a women/nonbinary/trans softball league and explores his city of residence, Portland, Oregon.

SC Nealy, LPC, CCMHC, NCC, MA, MA (they/them)

With over 16 years in the mental health field, SC Nealy is a queer, gender fluid psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and group practice owner in Arlington, VA. SC operates a team of all gay and trans-identifying therapists with the focus of bringing clinicians with lived experiences to the queer community and their families. They also work locally and nationally to advocate for queer rights, accessible mental health care, and bringing more awareness to the needs of the queer community. Their upcoming book published by Bloomsbury Academics, Healing Sacred Wounds, focuses on giving folx a guide map for processing and exploring their experiences in religious or spiritual trauma. As a therapist, they specialize in religious trauma, female and genderfluid-identifying couples counseling, mixed orientation marriages, complex-PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, interpersonal process group therapy, and non-faith based premarital counseling. SC Nealy, LPC, a queer couples therapist in the DMV area, will talk about ways to bring up money, best practices, and how to work with your partner toward a common financial goal.

Jonathan Petro (he/him)

Jonathan Petro (he/him) is the Managing Partner at Carluccio, Leone, Dimon, Doyle, Gutman & Petro, LLC in Toms River, where he focuses on family law, estate planning, and real estate. A graduate of Rutgers Law School and the University of Richmond, he has led the firm since 2016 and remains active in the community through organizations such as the Ocean County Bar Association and the Ocean County YMCA. He has been recognized for his professional excellence with an AV Martindale-Hubbell rating and honors including the Ocean County Bar Association Citizen Award and Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Citizen Award.

Webinar: Estate Planning for the LGBTQ+ Community

My presentation will focus on Estate Planning for the LGBTQ+ community, but extends beyond that to our allies and friends. This would include preparing a Last Will & Testament, an Advanced Medical Directive (sometimes called a “Living Will”) and Powers of Attorney.

I will also speak to some family law issues, including the legal status of marriage/partnership in New Jersey, and what that means for same-sex couples.
